About the Album: Â "Drumming & Dreaming" is an album of shamanic sound journeys which helps listeners experience a lucid dream while in the waking state. For thousands of years, shamans and indigenous people have been receiving healing and divine information from drumming, singing and dancing in an intentional, meditative way. Â
The production of this project was in and of itself a journey: a test of my resolve, my confidence in myself as a creator. A test of my will to endure late nights and early mornings and consistently show up for myself. It has been several years since I put out a full length project; I am happy to be back in the producer's chair. In alignment with my vision for 2020, to see myself and others clearly in their highest potential, I have affirmed myself as not only a musician, meditation teacher, family man, but also a prolific recording artist, public speaker, etc., aspects of me that I have yet to show you. I look forward to having you on this journey with me. Â
Deep thanks and gratitude to all those who were "instrumental" (pun intended) in making this album possible: my dreaming mentors Chet Alexander https://www.nityanandacenter.com/ and Robert Moss www.mossdreams.com , my wife Judy and our three children, my parents, grand parents and ancestors, and my spirit guides who I meditated on and received important messages from throughout this process. Special mention to Breathworker and Energy Healer Nathalie Rawat and musical activist Ann Hoffman for their contributions to the album. Love and gratitude to the Bagua center for giving Drumming & Dreaming a home and for the beautiful graphic design work.Â
